Heavy Rain To drench Odisha For Next 5 Days: IMD

Bhubaneswar: Due to the active monsoon in Odisha, heavy rain is expected in numerous districts across the state until 8.30 a.m. on June 26.

During the next 24 hours, heavy rain is expected in Sambalpur, Angul, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kendrapada Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, and Ganjam, according to the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

One or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khurda, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Puri, and Ganjam have all received a yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning. 

During this time, light to moderate rain is expected in most parts of Odisha's interior and many parts of the state's coast.
