Highway Robbers Caught In Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Three renowned highway men from Gelpur, near here, were detained on Thursday on suspicion of robbing truckers and other drivers at night.
According to the police, the suspects Susant Swain (alias Balia), Bijaya Jena (Kunipua), and Susant Jena (Chaita) intercepted a truck near Nalang and assaulted the driver, stealing Rs 10,000 and a cellphone. A case has been lodged against the trio (No 366 U/S 394 IPC), and a phone and Rs 4.000 have been confiscated. The defendants are being brought before a local court.
