Malkangiri: On Tuesday, Odisha Vigilance officials conducted simultaneous searches of Malkangiri Chief Agriculture Officer M Anand Rao's houses for allegedly amassing Disproportionate Assets (DA).
So far, Rs 53,000 in cash and Rs 3.93 lakh in bank deposits have been discovered.
In Malkangiri and Nabarangpur, searches are underway in five locations.
* A three-story building near the LIC office in Nabarangpur.
* A three-story building near the LIC office in Nabarangpur (under construction).
* A three-story residential structure near Nabarangpur's China Market.
* Malkangiri is home to an office chamber.
* Malkangiri is home to a residential government quarter.
