“Maoist activity in border regions have substantially decreased,” the DGP told reporters, “but we have kept our ears and eyes alert as they are still active on the other side of the border.”

During the previous year and a half, Maoist activity in the district has decreased significantly. "From 2013 to 2015, there were several events in this region." LWE activity has decreased in the recent 18 months, and I commend the CRPF and other Central troops for their assistance to the State police,” Abhay remarked.
