Odisha Govt to give finnacial support to Families with Dead COVID Patients As per the Directive on SC

Bhubaneswar: In accordance with the Directive of the Supreme Court, the government of Odisha would provide financing for the relatives of the dead COVID patients.
During a speech to the media here on Tuesday, CBK Mohanty, Director of Medical Education and Training (DMET).
According to the Supreme Court decision, Rs 50,000 would receive financial help if the patient dies within the month following the contraction. In addition, every COVID patient who has committed suicide and who died in accidents is eligible for funding.
"The State Government will create a specific standard operating procedure (SOP) to execute the direction of the apex court," stated the director.
In addition, he indicated that a district committee will soon be created for the re-audit of the COVID-related deaths.
