Prisoner writes wife's name on palm before suicide in Odisha

Bargarh: A prisoner hanged himself at Sohela Jail in Odisha's Bargarh district on Tuesday, two days after being arrested for allegedly killing his wife. "I Love You Manju (his wife)" he scribbled on his palm before committing suicide.
Mohit Rout, 35, of Petupali village, was recognized as the prisoner. Inside the prison, he hanged himself with a towel.
He was carried to the Sohela Community Health Centre, where he was pronounced dead by doctors. The body was then taken for a post-mortem examination. Rout is accused of murdering his wife over a dowry dispute.
When Manju's body was discovered, authorities saw the words 'I Love You Mohit' scribbled on his hand.
