SIBA PRASAD MOHANTY APPOINTED CMD OF BVFCL

New Delhi: Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited has appointed Siba Prasad Mohanty as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) (BVFCL).
He has been appointed to the job for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post on or after October 1, 2021, until his superannuation on May 31, 2025, or until further orders, whichever comes first, according to a Personnel Ministry Saturday order.
He is expected to take over on October 1, according to reports.
He was born in Puri, Odisha, and is currently the CMD of Hindustan Insecticides Limited (HIL). Bureaucracy Today (CSR Excellence Award), Times Ascent (Innovative HR practises), and The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry have all given HIL awards while he was chairman (FICCI).
Mohanty has over 26 years of expertise in the agri-inputs industry. From 1989 until 2015, he worked in various capacities at M/s Rashtriya Chemical & Fertilizers Ltd (RCF), Mumbai. In 1995, he was named "Marketing Man of the Year," and in 2012, he was named "Best Employee" at RCF.
He earned his master's degree in business administration from Berhampur University in Odisha. He graduated from IIM-Lucknow with an Executive Development Program and IIM-Kolkata with an Advanced Management Program.
