Bhubaneswar: Once again, BJD MLA and news editor Soumya Ranjan Patnaik made remarks which now raises concern of functioning of the Naveen Government. Soumya Ranjan has questioned Naveen’s anti-corruption approach and indirectly warned that he has changed. Soumya's editorial has now caused a stir in the BJD camp.
"Odisha people who love Naveen Babu never want him to change," he said in his editorial. In the first ten years of his rule, he became the favorite of the people of Odisha because he was different from other politicians. But for the next ten years, he has destroyed his own image.
Former minister and legislator Pradeep Panigrahi, who is the right hand of the chief minister, has been accused of embezzling non-revenue assets. Corruption is on the rise in the state. But still no action is being taken. Everyone is busy raising money for the election by doing corruption.
Naveen Babu's zero tolerance for transparency and corruption has been curtailed with the passing years. Frequent successes in his life have taken the form of arrogance now. This arrogance has been the root cause of the ‘zero tolerance for transparency and corruption’. He also said that now-a-days police are working hard to protect Powerfull and influential people.
