Bhubaneswar: The trailer and poster for 'T' were shown at the India pavilion of the famous film festival, shining a spotlight on an Odia film. At the event, actor-producer Jitendra Rai introduced the film.

Actors Inaam ul Haq, Rishi Bhutani, and director-producer Rahat Kazmi were present at the premiere.

The film is based on the true story of India's first transgender taxi driver, Meghna Sahoo. It was filmed in Odisha. Rai praised main actor Dev for his outstanding performance as Meghna Sahoo in the film.

"I am overjoyed by the positive reception to our teaser and poster at the world's most renowned film festival." The film is noteworthy because I believe that stories like Meghna's should be told and shared with the public. She is a role model for her community and for all of us. I hope we are able to do the film justice. In a statement, filmmaker Jitesh Kumar Parida said, "We are intending to premiere the film in theatres soon."

"For me, it was a dream come true." "I have done a picture from my own land (Odisha) because it has great potential for world cinema," he remarked, referring to a pledge he made three years ago at Cannes.

This film was produced by Jitesh Kumar and Jitendra Rai.

Jitesh Kumar Films and RR Motion Pictures (UK) Ltd produced the picture, which was co-produced by Vighnaharta Movies, Mohit Kumar Puri, and Himadri Tanaya Das. Thamrita Mohan Sambhuti, Soma Kiran Jena, and Rajashree Mohapatra are the associate producers. Debashish Sahu (Dev), Usashi Misra, Hara Rath, Ranbeir Kalsi, and Prasanjit Mohapatra star in the film.
