The death toll from the horrific triple train crash in Odisha's Bahanaga Bazar station has risen to 292 after another injured passenger died on Sunday while being treated at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

According to sources, a man from West Bengal who was being treated at the SCB Medical College and Hospital's Central ICU died as a result of his injuries.
Paltu Naskar, a West Bengal's South 24 Parganas resident, has been identified as the deceased.
Paltu was taken to the SCBMCH in critical condition after being injured in the fatal accident on June 2. He passed away today while undergoing treatment.
With this, the number of injured deaths at the SCBMCH has risen to four. Three injured passengers, all from Bihar, had died earlier.
According to reports, 45 passengers were injured in the train crash and are being treated at the SCBMCH.
On June 2, a three-way accident involving the Chennai-bound Coromandel Express from Shalimar, the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, and a stationary goods train killed 288 people and injured over 1100 others. As a result, four injured passengers died while receiving treatment at SCBMCH.
