Bargarh: On Tuesday, three members of a family, including two women, were discovered dead in a pool of blood inside a house in the Bheden area of Odisha's Bargarh district.
The incident occurred in the village of Akhiphuta, which is under the jurisdiction of the Bheden police station in the western Odisha district. According to sources, the mutilated bodies of a man and his two wives were recovered from the house. The bodies had extensive injury marks.
Following notification, a team of police officers rushed to the scene and launched an investigation.
While the three were suspected of being murdered by unknown assailants, police said an investigation is underway to determine what caused the incident.
Tankadhar Sahu and his two wives, Madhavi and Droupadi, were among those who died. More information is awaited.
