Baripada: Following notification, a team of police officers rushed to the scene and launched an investigation.
While the three were suspected of being murdered by unknown assailants, police said an investigation is underway to determine what caused the incident.
Tankadhar Sahu and his two wives, Madhavi and Droupadi, were among those who died. More information is awaited.
They stated that four of the six classrooms in the school are in poor condition and that the building's walls and ceiling have developed cracks. The school lacks safe drinking water and toilet facilities, and the children cannot be allowed to study in the extremely dangerous building.
The school has eight classes, but only four teachers from grades I to VIII to teach over 100 students, they claim.
The villagers claimed that they had submitted a memorandum to Badasahi's Block Development Officer (BDO) and Block Education Officer (BEO) several times in this regard, but that no action had been taken.
The villagers have threatened to escalate their protest if the administration does not take immediate action to hire more teachers and build a new school building.
