Bhubaneswar: A day after two Class X students went missing in Bhubaneswar, police tracked them down to Titlagarh in Odisha's Balangir district on Wednesday.
According to sources, a team of Chandaka police officers and some of the students' families has left for Titilagarh to bring the duo back to the city, and they are currently at the Titilagarh police station.
It is claimed that eight masked miscreants kidnapped the two minor boys after knocking them unconscious on their way to school the day before. They did, however, manage to escape the abductors' clutches and call their family members. "When they regained consciousness, they called and informed us of their location." "However, they were unable to identify the kidnappers," said the father of one of the victims.
Two students from a private school in the Sundarpur area of the Chandaka police limits went missing around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The school administration informed the parents that their children did not attend school. After failing to locate them, the families filed a complaint with police late at night.
