On Friday, the first phase of the admission process for Plus-II courses in all Higher Secondary Schools in Odisha began.

Bhubaneswar: On Friday, the first phase of the admission process for Plus-II courses in all Higher Secondary Schools in Odisha began.

Students' enrollment began today at 9 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m.

According to official sources, the admission process for the first phase will continue until 6 p.m. on July 13. Qualified candidates on the first merit list can now enroll.

Similarly, the second merit list will be released on July 19 at 11.30 a.m., followed by the spot selection merit list on July 27.

Following that, classes for Plus II courses in the state are set to begin on August 1.

The state's first selection cut-off list for Plus-II admissions has been released.

Admission applications were accepted from May 29 to June 30, 2023. The first merit list considered a total of 4,12,368 students.

The second merit list will be released on July 19, with admission taking place from July 20 to 22.

A total of 4,72,179 students applied for admission to the state's 2,158 colleges, with 4,67,358 of them completing the necessary procedures and paying the admission fees.

Officials said that during the spot selection on July 29, students will be able to choose any college of their choice, regardless of whether they had previously opted for it or not.
