Bhubaneswar: According to official sources, Higher Education Minister Rohit Pujari has been removed from Naveen Patnaik's cabinet.

The Chief Minister recommended that Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal dismiss Rohit Pujari due to the poor performance of his department, which ranked last in a review of all departments. Naveen just completed an annual review of all departments.

Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Minister of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, has been given additional responsibility for higher education.
