Bhubaneswar: At least six Union Ministers, including Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, are in Odisha on Friday to attend various programs.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Pankaj Choudhary, Darshana Jardosh, Kapil Moreshwar Patil, and Bishweswar Tudu are among the Union Ministers visiting the state, according to sources.

Nirmala Sitharaman and her deputy, Pankaj Chaudhary, were in Bhubaneswar for a post-budget discussion. They also spoke at a press conference in the state capital about the Union Budget 2023-24.

Sitharaman is scheduled to visit IIT Bhubaneswar this afternoon after meeting with various stakeholders from industry, trade, banking, and insurance about the budget.

Similarly, Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the inaugural session of the National Workshop on Localisation of Sustainable Development Goals in Gram Panchayats in Bhubaneswar, along with Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Kapil Moreshwar Patil, and Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Tribal Affairs, Bishweswar Tudu.

Darshana Jardosh, Minister of State for Railways and Textiles, will visit Jagatsingpur district as part of the 'Lok Sabha pravaas' programme, according to sources.
