Berhampur: In Odisha's Ganjam district, miscreants allegedly targeted a bank's ATM kiosk and fled with over Rs 10 lakh cash.

According to sources, unidentified burglars broke into the ATM of the State Bank of India in Pratapur Chhak, which is under the jurisdiction of the Purusottampur police station in the district, late Thursday night.

This morning, some locals noticed the broken ATM and called the police.

When the police station in Purusottampur was informed, a team from the station rushed to the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.

While the exact amount of looted money has yet to be determined, the ATM was said to have more than Rs 10 lakh in cash.
