Bhubaneswar: On Friday morning, the bodies of two youths were discovered in a locked house near a buffalo dairy farm in Bhingarpur, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Balianta police station on the outskirts of Odisha's capital.

Sushant Das (48) and Jagabandhu Behera (22) of Niali have been identified as the victims. They were both staying on the farm of Antaryami Das.

Das told reporters that he last spoke with his employees at the farm around 10.30 p.m. on Thursday. He missed a call around 1.30 a.m. because he was sleeping, and when he returned the call, it went unanswered. Das arrived at his farm this morning to find the room locked from the inside. When the two teenagers did not open the door, he called the cops and the locals.

By breaking open the door, the bodies were recovered. Das added that one of them had joined about 15 days ago.

Balianta police have launched an investigation to determine what caused their deaths.
