Cuttack: On Tuesday, a Revenue Inspector (RI) was discovered hanging at the Nischintakoili Tehsil Office in Odisha's Cuttack district.
Sanjay Das, the deceased, was assigned to the Tarat section of the Nischintakoili block.
According to sources, office employees discovered the body hanging from a ceiling fan on the upper floor of the building and notified police, who then sent it for a postmortem and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Meanwhile, his daughter claimed that he went to such lengths due to workplace harassment and a transfer.
