World Bank support would greatly boost several key visions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
During the trip to the United States, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and World Bank President Ajay Banga held discussions and decided to create a plan for partnering on various projects and initiatives, according to a release from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) on Wednesday.
The release outlined potential areas for collaboration, which include skills development, urban rejuvenation, Net Zero developments, citizens' healthcare, diagnostics, electronic records, and more.
During a meeting lasting over an hour, the head of the World Bank and the Chief Minister and his team decided to establish a cross-functional team to develop feasible projects in various areas at an accelerated pace. The major themes discussed during the meeting were people, planet, sustainability, health, skills, and jobs.
The World Bank's support will significantly advance several key initiatives of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, including the Musi River rejuvenation project, the Skill University, Future City, Citizen Healthcare, and the development of Hyderabad 4.0, according to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
Receiving praise from the World Bank for his balanced vision for Telangana and Hyderabad, Chief Minister Reddy expressed his enthusiasm for the bank's interest in supporting the creation of a Net Zero city, as stated by the CMO in its release.
Following the endorsement of several key initiatives of the state, Chief Minister Reddy promised to diligently pursue each project to ensure ambitious impact and outcomes with the highest level of transparency.
