According to sources, the student reportedly fell at her rented house in the Sriram Nagar area of Barbil late Friday night. Ruchi Jha, the daughter of Sabal Jha, who works in a private mines company, has been identified as the deceased.
Sabal and his family have been living in a rented house in Sriram Nagar. Ruchi, his older daughter, lived with them and had gone to the terrace for some reason.
She was rushed to the Barbil Community Health Center (CHC), where doctors declared her dead upon their arrival.
After receiving information, a police team rushed to the scene and launched an investigation. The circumstances surrounding the incident have yet to be determined.
