Puri: On Saturday morning, another fire broke out near the Puri railway station in Odisha, a day after the blaze in the Laxmi Market Complex was extinguished after 36 hours of hard work.

According to sources, a garbage pile near the railway track near the station caught fire. The incident caused no injuries.

However, the cause of the fire is unknown. Locals immediately notified railway officials. Later, firefighters jumped into action and brought the fire under control.

The fire completely destroyed the garbage dump and nearby bushes. However, there was no mention of railway assets being damaged.

It should be noted that just a few hours after the fire in Marichikot Chhak on Grand Road in the pilgrim town was completely extinguished on Friday, another fire broke out in Niladri Market Complex in the evening. Niladri Market Complex is a short distance from Laxmi Market Complex.

According to sources, the fire started in a handloom showroom inside the market complex. The fire department responded quickly after being notified, and the firefighting exercise has begun.
