242 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

242 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Bhubaneswar, Nov 19: 242 Covid-19 positive cases were found in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in the state to 1046559 on Friday.

From these fresh cases, 141 were detected from quarantines whereas the rest 101 came as the local contacts.

Similarly, today 45 more youngsters aged 0 to 18 years were found to be infected with Covid-19.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 30 districts of the State.

5. Cuttack: 18 

6. Jagatsinghpur: 3

7. Jajpur: 5 

8. Jharsuguda: 1 

9. Kalahandi: 1 

10. Kendrapada: 4 

11. Khurda: 120 

12. Koraput: 2 

13. Malkangiri: 2 

14. Mayurbhanj: 24 

15. Nayagarh: 2 

16. Nuapada: 1 

17. Puri: 4 

18. Sambalpur: 7 

19. Sundargarh: 4 

Besides, 28 cases were reported from the State pool.
