3 Odisha-cadre IAS Officers Get New Posting In Centre

Bhubaneswar: Three IAS officers from the Odisha cadre have been granted new assignments at the Centre. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) approved the appointments on Saturday.

Sanjay Rastogi, a 1991 batch officer, has been appointed as the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers' Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor. He was the Development Commissioner (Handlooms) for the Ministry of Textile.

Pramod Meherda, a 1997 batch officer, is the next Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Family Welfare.

Sanjeeb K Mishra, a 1997-batch officer, has been assigned to the National Recruitment Agency as Secretary & Controller of Examination. According to the official notification, he is one of 11 officers promoted to the rank of Additional Secretary.

Vismita Tej has also been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Coal. She is the wife of Odisha-born Director General of Narcotics Control Bureau SN Pradhan, an Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer.
