ACF Death: Bidyabharati will be questioned by the police once more
Paralakhemundi: On Monday, Bidyabharati Panda is expected to be interrogated for the second time in connection with the death of her husband, Paralakhemundi Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra.
The forest officer has been dead for three weeks due to burns.
According to sources, a special police squad lead by IIC Bibekanand Swain from Paralakhemundi Town police station left towards Goudagan village in Kaptipada block in Mayurbhanj district, Bidyabharati's ancestral home, on Sunday night.
Bidyabharati and her family will be questioned by the team.
During a previous visit on July 19, the team interrogated Bidyabharati and her family for more than seven hours. However, according to the sources, it has been unable to gather any substantial evidence.
The ACF died the next morning at a private hospital in Cuttack after being evacuated from his official residence on the night of July 12.
