According to reports, the board has made substantial preparations for the SA-1 examination, which will be held until November 30. Special squads were organised to keep an eye on students during exams and prevent cheating.
On the first day of the exam, students will enter the hall at 9 a.m., followed by 9.15 a.m.
Every day, the seal on the question papers will be broken 15 minutes before the examination. According to sources, the pupils will be allowed an additional 15 minutes for their Math test.
"This year, students will write their papers at examination centres other than their own universities," Odisha Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, Vice-President of BSE, told the media. The exam will be given at 3,029 different locations.
According to BSE president Ramashish Hazra, 5,40,712 lakh students will take the SA-1 exam this year.
Candidates are not permitted to bring anything other than a pen and their separate admit cards inside the examination halls.
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited within examination halls, according to Hazra.
Similarly, there are 108 Madhyama exam centres for 2,914 examinees, and 146 State Open School Certificate test centres for 7,181 examinees.
It is worth noting that the second edition of the High School Certificate Exam and Madhyama Exam will be referred to as Summative Assessment-2, or SA-2.
"Both of these tests are equally important because they will be used to give High School and Madhyama Certificates." Both SA-1 and SA-2 have the same weightage, which is 40%. As a result, it must be taken seriously. "Final results will be published with a 40% weightage for SA-1 and SA-2 and a 20% weightage for internal assessment," added Mohanty.
