Cold waves grips Odisha, Daringbadi and Phulbani coldest

Bhubaneswar: On Sunday night, areas of Odisha experienced bitter cold. Daringbadi and Phulbani were the coldest, with nighttime temperatures of 7 degrees Celsius, followed by Kirei and G Udayagiri with 7.5 degree Celsius minimums.
Jharsuguda (9 degrees Celsius), Keonjhar (10 degrees Celsius), Sonepur (9 degrees Celsius), Bhawanipatna (9.4), and Similiguda (9.9) were among the localities that reported night temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius or less.
Minimum temperatures in several districts were from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.
However, due to the probability of rain due to a Western Disturbance, the night temperature is expected to climb by 3-4 degrees Celsius in the next days, according to the regional meteorological centre.
