Cyclone Jawad: UGC-NET Examination Postponed In Odisha, Andhra

Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic storm is forming in the Bay of Bengal and is predicted to make landfall near Puri on Saturday evening or Sunday morning, postponing the National Testing Agency's UGC-NET Examination.

It was supposed to take place on the 3rd and 4th of December.

"Due to the cyclone scenario in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, the UGC-NET Examination scheduled for December 3 and 4, 2021 has been postponed." This applies to applicants taking the exam in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh," the NTA said in a statement on Friday.

Other states' schedules will stay unchanged.

Education, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Russian, Electronic Science, Social Medicine and Community Health, and Assamese and Bodo will be tested on December 3, 2021, and Assamese and Bodo on December 4, 2021.
