Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurates two schools in Talcher
Angul: Two Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) were opened by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday in the Angul district of Odisha.
Pradhan dedicated the KVs in the Talcher sub-Jagannath division's and Subhadra sectors that were constructed with money from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). For the construction of a KV permanent building in the Jagannath region, he also performed a "Bhumi Pujan."
Speaking at the event, Pradhan said the two new Talcher Kendriya Vidyalayas will aid local children in their academic endeavours and might aid in the growth of the community.
The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Talcher will be expanded into a significant educational institution, and the MCL Vocational Training Center will be transformed into a Skill Development Center, according to Pradhan, who claimed that his ministry has drawn up elaborate plans for promoting education in the region.
According to the minister, the two institutes would help local workers as well as youths, women, and those displaced by mining to become self-sufficient after receiving training.
