Bhadrak: Ten people were hurt during a fight between two transgender groups on Saturday night in Charampa, Odisha's Bhadrak district.
Four of the injured have been transported to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack since they are reportedly in severe condition.
A transgender group was reportedly meeting in a hotel when another group broke in, attacked them, and trashed the establishment.
A news outlet quoted Basant Kumar Ojha, the hotel's owner, as stating, "About 50 transgender people were in my hotel's hall when another group of transgender people barged in and went on a rampage."
To stabilise the situation, Bhadrak police led a flag march in the neighbourhood.
