Jayanarayan Mishra appointed Leader of Opposition in Odisha Assembly

Bhubaneswar: Jayanarayan Mishra, a Sambalpur MLA, was named the new Leader of Opposition (LOP) in the Odisha Legislative Assembly on Saturday by the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Odisha branch.
At a news conference in Bhubaneswar, Odisha BJP co-incharge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar said that Pradipta Kumar Naik, who is receiving treatment at Medanta in New Delhi for COVID-related issues, had been replaced by Mishra.
