Koraput train services interrupted by Kisan Morcha Rail-Roko

Jeypore: The Koraput Unit of Kisan Morcha on Monday started a turmoil at the railway station from 10:00am to 4:00pm in response to a demand for six-hour railroco by the All-India Federations of Farmers.

As a consequence of the rail-roko train, the Waltair-Kirandul train in Jeypore was held at the nearby Burra Caves and Araku Valley because of the inconveniences of visitors. Police and staff at the station were deployed to guarantee that railway buildings at the station were not destroyed by agitators.

Following the rail-roko disturbance, the services of several additional rail and freight cars have been interrupted.

The Farmers' Federation was demonstrating at Lakhipur, Uttar Pradesh, and claiming the arrest of the Minister's son, over the deaths of four people reportedly attributed by the convoy of Union Minister of State Ajay Kumar Mishra. In addition, agitators protested against the increase in oil and fuel prices and the Union government's three agriculture legislation.

The Center Government of Bharatiya Janata, District Secretary of Krushak Morcha Judhistir Rahul and the Labor Union leader Pramod Mohanty, have criticised the Centre's anti-farmer policies.
