COVID Test For All MLAs, Staff From August 29 In Odisha Assembly's Monsoon Session

Bhubaneswar: Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro told the media on Thursday that with the monsoon session of the Odisha Assembly starting on September 1, all MLAs and Assembly personnel will undergo the COVID-19 test from August 29.
Due to the pandemic, all MLAs and their drivers, as well as all State Assembly personnel, will be required to take the COVID test during these three days.
“The COVID test will commence on August 29 inside the Assembly grounds. Those who test negative will be permitted entry to the Assembly building. Those who haven't been vaccinated will also be barred from attending the workshop, according to Patro.
