Trains have been rescheduled and cancelled due to Cyclone Gulab

Bhubaneswar: Owing to unusually late running of connecting train due to Cyclone Gulab, the Puri-Shalimar-Puri Special from Shalimar would be cancelled on September 28. The train from Puri was cancelled again today for the same reasons, according to a press release from the East Coast Railway.

The 02822 Chennai-Howrah Special has also been postponed by the ECoR. On September 28, instead of leaving at 7.15 p.m. today, it will depart at 9.30 a.m.

The East Coast Railway's Waltair division has cancelled the following trains due to persistent heavy rain causing waterlogging on railway lines in the Visakhapatnam-Koraput and Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaran-Rayagada railway sections.
