Another Honeytrap Case: Rajasthan CID Seeks help from Odisha Crime Branch

Bhubaneswar: Rajasthan CID requested support from the Odisha Crimen Branch for the honeytrap of a defence personnel in another development in the DRDO spying case.

Sources indicate that authorities from Rajasthan detained a Class IV military engineering staff in Jodhpur on charges that highly secret material was being leaked to sources abroad. The inquiry led Rajasthan CID to confirm that a woman from outside of the nation trapped the employee.

Previously, five ITR personnel at Chandipur in Balasore who participated in the covert missile test leak information had been arrested by the Odisha Police Criminal Branch. It informed the foreign agent whether or not they were successful on dates of missile testing from ITR.

The Crime Branch also found that the five accused, after being traped by a lady from Dubai, had reportedly disclosed vital intelligence from the high-security defence institution. Two of them, she suggested marriage.

Rajasthan CID got help from the Odisha Crime Branch which took an operative photograph of a lady along with a video of her five arrested calls.
