Minor girl gang-raped in car in Sambalpur, 6 detained

Sambalpur: Six people, including a woman, have been taken into custody by the police after a little girl was allegedly raped inside a car on NH-53 in the Sambalpur district of Odisha on the night between Saturday and Sunday.
The victim was carried to a dhaba along NH-53 in the Goshala area, according to media sources. According to reports citing police sources, the woman allegedly worked as a pimp who trafficked young girls and forced them into prostitution. Four of the accused joined them in the dhaba.
The girl was allegedly taken into a nearby parked car by the four males after dinner and raped. A PCR van sped to the scene and saved the girl when bystanders called the police.
The woman, the proprietor of the dhaba, and the four suspects have all been arrested and are being interrogated.
