Missing School Student Found Hanging From Tree In Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: On Wednesday, a little child was discovered hanging from a tree near his school in Odisha's Nabarangpur district.
Shankar Harijan of Baunsabeda village in Dabugam block was identified as the deceased. He attended Manigaon Government High School in Class X.
According to sources, Harijan, who was staying in the school hostel, went missing on Tuesday morning. His parents then filed a missing persons report with the local police station.
He was discovered hanging from a cashew tree with a belt near a river behind the school. His family members organised a road blockage in front of the school gate, blaming the school administration for his death. This slowed vehicular traffic between Dabugam and Maidalpur.
A police squad was dispatched to the area to appease the outraged townspeople.
