Bhubaneswar: Rashmi Rekha Ojha, an Odia television actress, allegedly committed suicide on Sunday by hanging herself from the ceiling of her rented residence in Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar. The event was brought to light after the body was discovered late Sunday night by authorities.
According to the information, Rashmi was discovered hanging from the ceiling of her home by some neighbours, who notified the Nayapalli police. The body was later discovered and taken by the police. The actress wrote a suicide note in which no one was blamed for her death.
"Baba, I miss you." In her suicide note, the actress said, "I shall miss you." A case has been filed and an investigation has begun.
"The body has been taken to Capital Hospital for a post-mortem, and further investigations are continuing," a detective stated.
Rashmi Rekha's role in 'Kemiti Kahibi Kaha' made her prominent among Odia TV viewers.
