Balangir: Seji Singh, the son of senior Congress leader and Odisha MLA Santosh Singh Saluja, was arrested following an alleged fight at a cinema hall in Kantabanji, Balangir district.
According to sources, the Kantabanji legislator's son was allegedly involved in a fight with the son of a cinema hall owner late Wednesday night at the Kantabanji theatre.
After receiving information, a swarm of police officers rushed to the location where Seji allegedly got into an argument with them. A video of the incident went viral on social media as well.
According to the sources, Seji was arrested and a case was filed against him under various sections of the IPC and the Arms Act.
Following that, police raided the MLA's son's gym and allegedly seized Rs 19 lakh in cash and 17 litres of various liquor brands.
