One killed, one critical in road mishap in Odisha

Baripada: On Friday, a truck collided with the motorcycle they were riding on in the Bisoi area of Odisha's Mayurbhanj district, killing one and badly injuring another.
According to sources, the accident occurred in the morning near Mahubhandar on National Highway No. 49, within the jurisdiction of Bisoi police station.
According to the two, they were on their way to a nearby village when a speeding truck slammed their motorcycle from behind and rushed away.
One of them died, and another was seriously injured. He was brought to a neighbouring hospital, where his condition was described as critical.
When they were alerted, a team of police officers hurried to the scene and made arrangements to transport the injured to the hospital. Further investigation is being conducted, and efforts are being made to locate the truck.
