Learner’s License Test to resume in Odisha from August 11

Bhubaneswar: On August 9, slot booking for the Learner's Licence (LL) test will begin.

According to the State Transport Authority's (STA) announcement, existing applicants can schedule their LL exam between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. every day. The LL test will begin on August 11th, and each session will last 15 minutes (10 minutes for the test).

Due to an increase in COVID instances, the LL test sessions scheduled for March 18 were cancelled.

The fees already paid for the LL test will remain valid, according to the STA Chairman-cum-Transport Commissioner. The deadline for new LL applicants will be announced later.

THE EXAMINATION:

  • To pass the test, a candidate must properly answer at least 12 of the 20 questions.
  • Candidates can take a practise LL test at www.parivahan.gov.in.


THE DIRECTIVES

  • Candidates are not permitted to enter the office until 45 minutes before their slot time.
  • At the exam center/office, applicants must wear masks and adhere to social distance standards.
  • No tests will be given to applicants from the containment zone. Any such applicant who attempts to access the office will be reported to the local police.
  • Applications have been urged not to bring friends or family members to the office.


Those experiencing COVID symptoms will not be permitted to take the exam. In the event of an emergency, such as a COVID epidemic that forces the office to close, the exam may be cancelled on short notice. Applicants are encouraged not to attend the RTO office with any questions about their Learner's Licence.
