Seven students of IIM, Sambalpur received ₹1-lakh scholarships
New Delhi: During a function to commemorate the institution's seventh foundation day on Thursday, seven IIM Sambalpur students who topped the first-year examinations each earned Rs 1 lakh scholarships.
Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of Education, urged students to create a "synergy of modern education with traditional values."
“We can only have a competent workforce if we have skilled management professionals,” Pradhan said in a virtual address at the function.
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, according to Pradhan, aims to update, upgrade, and upskill youngsters, as well as change the education system in light of evolving dynamics.
The work on the permanent campus is progressing quickly, according to IIM Sambalpur Director Mahadeo Jaiswal, with the first phase expected to be completed by August-December 2022.
