Vigilance raid conducted on PACS Assistant Secy of Bargarh

Bhubaneswar: Following allegations of owning disproportionate assets, the Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous searches on the homes of Ghanashyam Sahoo, Assistant secretary, Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS) at Gaisilat block in Bargarh district on Monday.
The raids are being carried out by two Bargarh division Vigilance teams consisting of one DSP, four Inspectors, and other employees at his Kalangapali residence as well as the Gaisilat Cooperative Society office.
Three plots, one four-wheeler, two two-wheelers, and Rs 1,66,000 in cash have been discovered so far by the teams. Official sources said the property and gold jewellery are currently being valued.
