Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee has been dissolved by Mallikarjun Kharge.

"The current DCC presidents will serve as acting presidents until new DCC Presidents are appointed," the statement said.

Bhubaneswar:  The President of Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge, has dissolved the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday. This decision comes in the wake of the party's poor performance in the recent Lok Sabha and assembly elections in the state. Mr. Kharge has given the approval for the complete dissolution of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, including its President, PCC, office bearers, executive committee, District/Block/Mandal Congress Committees, Frontal Organisations, Departments and Cells, with immediate effect, as stated in a party release. The current DCC presidents will act as interim presidents until new DCC Presidents are appointed.

Sarat Pattanayak served as the president of the now-dissolved Odisha PCC.
