Puri: On Wednesday, one person was killed and four others were seriously injured in a deadly knife attack over a family dispute near Tatambari Akhada Mutt in Puri district's Upara Malisahi.
Nursingha Mohanty, aka Poda Sonu, has been identified as the accused and is on the run. In the incident, he allegedly stabbed his nephew, Soumya Ranjan Pradhan, to death. His wife, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and husband were all seriously injured. According to sources, the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
As the accused's sister-in-law's husband's condition worsened, he was transferred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
