Odisha implements major IPS reshuffle; Suresh Dev Datta Singh appointed as the new Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner.

The Odisha government has announced a major reshuffle in the Indian Police Service (IPS) and appointed 27 officers to new positions, according to a notification issued by the Home Department. Here are some of the key appointments:

- AK Ray, IPS (RR 1988), who is currently serving as the Director of Printing, Stationary and Publication in Odisha, Cuttack, has been transferred and appointed as the DG of Prisons and Correctional Services.
- SM Narvane, IPS (RR 1989), currently serving as OSD in the Home Department in Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and appointed as the Director of Printing, Stationary and Publication in Odisha, Cuttack.
- Vinaytosh Mishra, IPS (RR 1993), currently serving as the Director of SCRB in Odisha, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and appointed as ADG, CID-CB.
- RP Koche, IPS (RR 1993), currently serving as Additional DG of Police SAP in Odisha, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and appointed as the Director of Intelligence in Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
- Sanjeeb Panda, IPS (RR 1994), currently serving as the Commissioner of Police in Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and appointed as ADG, Training and Director of BPSPA.
