Bhubaneswar: According to sources, a special squad of Commissionerate Police arrested bouncer gang mastermind Raghav Jena from Jatni in Odisha's Khurda district on Wednesday.
The gang allegedly forcibly took possession of disputed land in the city, ransacked stores, and attacked police officers. Jena was wanted in four separate cases at the Nayapalli police station. Sharp weapons and incriminating materials were taken from him.
According to the sources, over 15 members of the gang were previously arrested in connection with these cases.
In April, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) enforcement squad demolished an illegal Jena structure built on government land in the Jharpada area. In March, seven members of the gang were arrested for ransacking two shops in the Nayapalli area.
