Several injured as truck hits bus in Balasore

Balasore: The bus in which they were traveling overturned after being hit by a speeding truck on the National Highway near the Shantia bypass at Jaleswar in Odisha's Balasore district early on Friday.
According to sources, the accident occurred around 2.45 a.m. while the bus was traveling from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata. The injured have been taken to the Jaleswar CHC.
Manoj Kumar Nayak, the bus driver, told the media that the truck hit the vehicle when it was slowing down at a speed breaker about 1 km after Jaleswar. He then lost control of the bus, causing it to crash into the barricade and overturn as a result of the impact.
Police have arrived and seized the truck. More research is being conducted.
