Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, the vehicle carrying two Class X students who had been rescued in Balangir after going missing overturned in the Daspalla area of Odisha's Nayagarh district while returning to Bhubaneswar.

The two students who went missing in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday were found on Wednesday by police in Titlagarh, Balangir district. A team of Chandaka police officers and some of the students' family members had left for Titilagarh to bring them back to the city.

It was claimed that eight masked miscreants kidnapped the two minor boys on their way to school after knocking them out. They did, however, manage to escape the abductors' clutches and call their family members. The police apprehended the pair and made arrangements to return them to their home in Bhubaneswar.

On Thursday, they were returning in an SUV when it turned turtle on Banigocha road in Daspalla. Locals rushed them to Banigocha hospital, where their condition was described as stable.

Two students from a private school in the Sundarpur area of the Chandaka police limits went missing around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. The school administration informed the parents that their children did not attend school. After failing to locate them, the families filed a complaint with police late at night.
