Keonjhar: The driver of a truck died inside the vehicle after it caught fire after colliding with another truck on NH-49 near Mahuldiha village in Odisha's Keonjhar district early Friday.
The deceased's identity has yet to be determined.
According to sources, the accident occurred around 4 a.m. when the aluminum-laden truck collided with another 10-wheeler carrying iron sheets. The truck quickly caught fire, and the driver was burned alive.
When the Fire Department was notified, they rushed to the scene and extinguished the flames. The two trucks, both bound for Kolkata, were seized by police, who launched an investigation.
